Single Stream recycling is the mixing of “dual stream” recyclables. By combining paper with cardboard and adding commingled containers (plastics containers, metal cans, glass bottles aseptic cartons, etc.) we have Single Stream.  The processing equipment separates the paper and cardboard from the cans and bottles, where each of the commodities is then processed by the commingled or paper processing equipment.
